Who handles your data

What we collect

When you book we collect your name, email, mobile number, stay dates, number of guests and any requests you write to us. Payment is processed by Stripe or ifthenpay; we do not store your card details.

When you browse the site, technical data such as IP address and browser type is logged, and we use Google Analytics for visit statistics.

Why we use it

We use your data to manage your booking and communicate with you (performance of a contract), to meet legal obligations such as invoicing and guest registration, and to improve the site (legitimate interest). We do not sell data or send advertising without your consent.

Who we share it with

Only with the providers needed for the service: payment processors (Stripe, ifthenpay), website hosting, email service and, where the law requires, public authorities. Some of these providers may process data outside the European Union under the safeguards set out in the GDPR.

How long we keep it

Booking data is kept for the period required by tax law and guest registration rules. Other data is deleted once it is no longer needed.

Your rights

You may request access, rectification, erasure, restriction or portability of your data, and object to its processing, by writing to geral.casabaviera@gmail.com. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the Portuguese data protection authority, CNPD (www.cnpd.pt).

The site uses cookies that are essential for it to work and Google Analytics cookies that measure visits. You can block or delete them in your browser settings.
